The 2 Series Coupe sports a 2.0-liter TwinTurbo inline four-cylinder engine that creates 255 horsepower and 294 pound-feet of torque. The M240i xDrive Coupe gets a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine that outputs 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
All engines are connected to eight-speed automatic transmissions.
Performance
The 228i can also be equipped with the M235i's standard xDrive all-wheel-drive system to improve its performance both in terms of traction on slippery roads and road-gripping acceleration and cornering.
