When it comes to BMW and their SUV options, they have two distinct types. There is the Sports Activity Vehicle ® (SAV ®) and the Sports Activity Coupe ® (SAC ®). These BMW types are distinct in their exterior styling. What is a BMW Sports Activity Vehicle ®

This is a culmination of sporty and off-road capable models that are not only stylish but spacious as well. Gainesville drivers may enjoy them for their numerous technology and design features. These models are considered BMW SAV ®. They consist of the BMW X1, X3 and BMW X5.

The BMW X1 is the most compact of the three vehicles while the BMW X5 is a three-row SUV with room to stretch out. The BMW X3 meets these two BMW SAV ® models in the middle in size. It provides an aerodynamic design with a spacious cabin and roomy cargo area.

What is a BMW Sports Activity Coupe ®

These BMW SUV models are slightly different. In order to remain consistent with the branding of the BMW 2-Series and BMW 4-Series, they have created a class of SUV coupe models. These SAC ® models have a sloped rear roof to mimic coupes. They still have superior off-road and performance capabilities but with an added flare.

The models in the SAV ® lineup consist of the BMW X2, BMW X4 and the BMW X6. The X2 is a new model that offers a series of comfort, technology and safety features.
