Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 BMW XM: High-Performance Luxury Your Way
XM
The BMW XM houses a plug-in hybrid powertrain that incorporates a 4.4L turbocharged V8 and a performance electric motor. Together, the setup transmits 644 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque to the M xDrive all-wheel drive system, propelling the SUV to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and to a top speed of 155 mph on the track. In all-electric mode, the XM can drive up to 31 miles before the battery bottoms out.
Stepping inside the entry-level BMW XM, you will be greeted by high-quality materials and an assortment of creature comforts. Power M multifunction seats, which come with premium leather upholstery as well as heating, ventilation, and massaging functions, keep the driver and front passenger free from road weariness. Meanwhile, an exclusive M Lounge with ample legroom and headroom envelops the rear passengers in comfort during long drives.
XM Label
The more powerful of the two trims, the XM Label, features the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the base model. However, the V8 engine has been tuned for stronger performance, bringing the total output to 738 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. This allows the SUV to hit 60 mph in a lightning-fast 3.6 seconds. Similar to the base model, the XM Label drives up to 31 miles in all-electric mode.
The XM Label shares much of its comfort and luxury features with the base XM model, including the M multifunction seats. However, the seat upholstery gets its own distinctive color scheme that incorporates a race-inspired red and black combination. Additionally, the XM Label features an exclusive Carbon Fiber M Signature interior trim.
Available Packages
Both XM and XM Label trims offer a rich selection of available features and packages that help you customize your BMW XM even further. This includes the M Driver’s Package that increases the SUV’s top speed to 180 mph and the M Sport brakes (available with blue or red calipers) that add larger discs and brake pads.
The BMW XM also offers an upgraded sound package that is available on both trim levels: the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System. The audio system features Diamond Dome tweeters, fully active amplification channels, and QuantumLogic surround sound and dynamic sound equalizing.
